We Made It

Just a quick update, I know some are anxious to hear the details.

We are now home from the hospital. We absolutely loved where we delivered, the nurses were wonderful and treated me and the little one like gold, but it's so nice to be home. We have been dreaming about the day when we would bring our little baby to her new home, its so surreal to believe that that day has finally come. We are adjusting quite well to the new change. We love being a family of three, although that too almost seems unreal. I keep looking at this cute little bundle, and have to remind myself that shes mine. She's mine!

Ava is doing great. We think she gets just cuter every minute, and she is so much fun. The first night went surprisingly well! While in the hospital Ava wasn't eating as much as the nurses would have liked, and therefore Brian began worrying and stressing over it. He was stressing so much he was literally making himself sick and losing a lot of sleep. Since my Mom was in town helping us out, we decided to let Brian take the night off and ava, mom and grandma all had a sleepover out in the living room. It was great.

She woke up just about exactly every 3 hours to eat, all night. That doesn't leave too much time for sleep, but we are thankful she is eating much better. She's a great baby, perfectly healthy, and we are totally in love with her!

I will post more pictures and info as we have time. Oh, and thank you so much for those of you who have offered to bring us meals, we really do appreciate it.
